I gave this to my fiance for Christmas (our wedding is just a few months from now). He loves it and keeps showing me pages to read. Its funny, but its also practical and has a lot of good advice, everything from how different types of people need to unwind at the end of the day (and respecting each other's stye), to budget management, to kitchen organization, to... lol, my favorite chapter "I love you, but not the noises you make." (Spoiler alert: its largely about snoring / bathroom stuff and maintaining the mystery and romance when you're living together. I would also highly recommend "The Bride's Instruction Manual" and "The Groom's Instruction Manual" from the same series.
This was WAY more informative, in depth, and awesome than I thought it was going to be. I really does contain ACTUAL advice and usable information. I thought it was just going to be some neat but fun light hearted suggestions, but there is a TON of information in it. Gave it to my sister and future brother in law for their bridal shower. Huge hit!
This book isn't good. I was going to gift to someone as a gag gift because it looked cute but after reading sections of the book, the advice is really common sense stuff and the book wasn't good in my opinion.
Got this as a gift for my sister to give to her as part of her wedding gift, (plus the Bride & Groom manuals as an engagement present). Read through it myself before I give it to her as I'm a newlywed myself and I enjoyed reading it. It covers all the basics of what to do & what happens after you get married.
Cute book that I bought for my newly wed nephew. It had some cheeky information that was direct and usable. I would recommend this book.
I buy this for all of my newly engaged/married friends. Has a lot of humor but also really good advice and tips for EVERYTHING. Talks about joint accounts, what to ask when buying a home, how to do thank you cards. I want to buy one for myself too!
